Network Sponsorship

The AMC's Network Sponsorship program is an opportunity for the AMC community to invest in the success of the conference.

Here's how it works: Your group reserves 10 conference registrations at the requested rate of $100 each by April 30, 2010 and you receive the benefits of our "Ally" sponsorship level as a bonus ($600 value). Reserve 20 conference registrations at the $100 rate and receive the benefits of the "Supporter" sponsorship level as a bonus ($1,000 value).

We introduced Network Sponsorship for AMC2009 and seven organizations took advantage of this plan. We want even more organizations to invest in the AMC through Network Sponsorship in 2010.

Contact us at info@alliedmediaconferenc.org for details.

Kids Track!

In each of our newsletters we will be profiling some of the things planned for AMC2010.

This year's Kids Track is nurturing the next generation of creative, critically-thinking media makers.  For this track, we are seeking session proposals that empower kids to assert their voices and imaginations through media as a form of protest, action and self-expression.  The track will be broken into sessions for pre-teens (ages 8-12) and kids (ages 4-7), as well as all-ages sessions.  All sessions should create a safe space for children to work and learn together.  The kids track will be collaborating with Allied Media Childcare, which will be an open, safe space where any young person can hang out.  Childcare will be supervised by caregivers with experience caring for infants (ages 6 months and up). Childcare volunteers will also support parents to bring their children with them to non kids-track sessions.  All AMC sessions will be rated for kid friendliness.

For more information about the Kids Track or to volunteer for the Allied Media Childcare, contact: Sicily McRaven: sis_artistry (AT) yahoo (DOT) com

Register for the AMC!

Our registration system includes many new features. You can now:

  • Select an installment registration plan, paying for your registration in monthly increments, as opposed to all at once.
  • Easily go back and add items to your registration (such as housing or an exhibition table) if you have already registered.
  • Register for your whole group to attend in one fell swoop!
  • Sign up for housing through the AMC, even if you are not attending the AMC. This will be useful to people who are attending the U.S. Social Forum or other related gatherings.
