Jay Smooth: A History Lesson For Chris Brown
love me some Jay Smooth.
AND. there's a looooong ass history of black men being allowed to continue their careers (R. Kelly, Clarence Thomas, Mike Tyson, Kobe Bryant) and in some cases even being lauded as geniuses (i.e. Miles Davis, Ike Turner) AFTER they assault black women. key words here being after, assaulting, *black women.* if Chris Brown had done Taylor Swift like he did Rihanna do you honestly think his ass would even have a career? You see what they did to Kanye after he *interrupted her*.
ETA: and bunnehears talks about this too, how no one is pointing out how the fact it was a black woman that gave the interview and triggered his anger.
