paintGeorgia's Savannah College of Art and Design has a new project this year, the SCAD deFINE ART festival, which will act as the fall equivalent of the college's nationally recognized spring SCAD Style festival.

The first ever deFINE ART festival will host events on both of the college's campuses in Savannah and Atlanta.  Atlanta's main events include a lecture by artist Trenton Doyle Hancock on Nov. 10 and Open Studio Night, featuring over 200 original works of art by SCAD students, faculty, and alumni, on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.  The event will take place on the 5th floor of SCAD Atlanta.  Refreshments will be available, accompanied by live entertainment by a blues band.
