CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR FILM FESTIVAL
The WOCAF Festival March 25th - 28th 2010
The Women of Color Arts & Film (WOCAF) Festival, Atlanta, Georgia, scheduled for March 25th - 28th 2010 is now accepting submissions for its sixth annual festival.
 
The Women of Color Arts and Film Festival is a multi-discipline event that includes film screenings, a visual art exhibition and a music showcase - all celebrating women of color artists and media makers. 
The film festival is produced annually by Iyàlódè Productions in collaboration with The Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History and features films and videos from across the globe by and about women of African, African-American, Asian, Middle -Eastern, Afro-European, Australian-Aborigine, Caribbean, Latina and Native American descent.
 
We accept screeners on VHS (NTSC formats only) and DVD. Our final screening formats are either VHS (NTSC formats only) or DVD also.

WOCAF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The WOCAF festival needs volunteers all year round and we can't put on the festival without you! Every year many of you volunteer your time and energy to make this festival a success. NIGERIAN TOURISM EXPO (NITEX) PRESENTS THE 2009 ANNUAL U.S-NIGERIAN INVESTMENT DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT  
FRIDAY NOV 20th & SATURDAY 21st 2009 
Scheduled to be held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel, 265 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30303-1294. The theme of the conference is "Strengthening our Partnership for Sustainable Growth and Prosperity in a Global Recession".  It will also include a travel and tourism forum.

The focus of the conference is to bring together, stakeholders and partners from the United States and Nigeria, for the purpose of sharing ideas that could mutually provide opportunities for economic growth.

ION INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL PORTHARCOURT, NIGERIA - DECEMBER 9th - 12th 2009
ION International Film Festival is a touring festival that is dedicated to promoting independent films, documentaries, animations, music videos and student films. Each year ION is held in a different location in an effort to promote global awareness and unity. This year Port Harcourt is the host city followed by Istanbul in 2010.
