SPARK Your Creative Passion - Apply For the IGNITE Media Camp Today!

SPARK Reproductive Justice Now

SPARK Reproductive Justice NOW is happy to announce that we are currently accepting applications for our IGNITE Media Camp organized through Fierce Youth Reclaiming & Empowering (FYRE), our youth focused program. This year, we are taking inspiration from the very places we live and explore. We want to see ourselves reflected on the very walls of our neighborhoods so we're going to be creating a large scale visual media project that will be as fierce as the LGBTQ youth of color that inspire our movement. Sounds exiting? Read below to find out how you can be apart of this amazing experience!

The SPARK Family!
IGNITE Media Camp

IGNITE Logo IGNITE is a 4 day/3 night dynamic gathering of LGBTQ youth of color - artists, budding activists, and critical thinkers - who will reimagine and create media for our resilience, our lives, and our communities.

Over 4 days, participants will engage in interactive skill shares about reproductive and media justice while learning the media skills needed to create murals, stencils, and other visual media to amplify the power of LGBTQ youth of color.

IGNITE is open to all LGBTQ Youth of Color 18-24 currently living in the Southeast region. Accepted participants will have travel to and from site, lodging, food, and other camp related expenses covered.

To apply, complete the online application or download a hard copy from our website and submit it by mail. All applications, including mailed hard copies, must be received by us no later than November 10th!

Join FYRE at GA Tech

Fierce Youth Reclaiming & Empowering is joining with the Women's Student Center and Pride Alliance of GA Tech in November to provide a discussion on the stereotypes and complexities of sexuality within our own communities.

The discussion is open to community members, and we strongly encourage folks to come out and share their experiences and opinions.

The program will take place in room 2447 of the Klaus Building from 7:00-8:00pm. Visitors can use Parking Deck 4, which is a 2 minutes from the building, and parking is $1 per hour. If you have any questions about accessibility, please email

Look out for a specific date as the time approaches.

SPARK Reproductive Justice NOW collaborates with individuals, communities, and organizations to grow and sustain a powerful reproductive justice movement in Georgia and the South. We do this by developing and sharing a radical analysis in order to change culture, mobilizing in response to immediate threats, and organizing for long-term systemic change.

SPARK accomplishes these goals through its Speak Justice Take Action (SJTA!) and Fierce Youth Reclaiming & Empowering (FYRE) initiatives.
Please consider making a generous donation today to support a powerful reproductive justice movement in Georgia and the South!
