im starting a campaign to raise awareness around sexual health (particularly among black and brown women) and to critique and counter the dangerous messages and sexual exploitation glorified in the media, perfectly portrayed in the song/video "Spectacular" by Kiely Williams (former Cheetah Girl and 3LW member.

I just wrote an open letter, posted it on my blog and will send it to whatever record label she is on. I am now encouraging you to write an open letter and share it on a blog, note, email, whatever-- and pass it on, asking others to continue.
Remember chain letters? This is like a chain letter for revolution and change.
If we generate enough support and some publicity, maybe we can even pressure the institutions behind this message to respond and be more responsible.
