We traveled over 10,000 miles with an all-women crew in a grease-powered bus, delivering "Hurricane Season: the hidden messages in water" to over 8,800 people in more than 50 cities, and featuring 150 community-based organizations to draw vital connections between shared struggles and common solutions in a critical moment in human history. We are currently turning Hurricane Season into a multi-media curriculum for high school and college students with the help of a team of 7 amazing educators, activist, and artists. "She Lives" was a collaboration with the fiercely phenomenal  Taina Asali and La Banda Rebelde! Her Debut Album Release Party will take place this Saturday, March 27th in Troy, NY! We wrote down the names of many of these gifted genius gurus on the first day of the new year as people we would love to perform with... innerstand and uphold the power of the word! RECOGNITION We won Best Director at the Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival for Hurricane Season's video!!   One Common Unity recognized us beside Andersen Sa (director, Favella Rising, Brazil) as "Common Folk" from around the world who are creating peace and lasting sustainable change in their communities through education, arts and media. We were awarded a grant from The Kindle Project which seeks to foster a nexus of creative ideas and cultivators to inspire and support possibilities for change. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
