As an asexual, I find it difficult to maintain a sense of gender. I look at people and I see the way spines curve and the way they move when they talk. I see gleaming eyes and vivid lips, collarbones and hands. I see so many beautiful people every day, and I wish they knew how amazing they are, that their sex, their gender means nothing in the face of the living works of art that are human beings.
