aza on tuesday night at the million man march at tahrir sq. she had so much fun. egyptians kept coming by to take her picture or take pictures with her. this night felt like a carnival, a celebration, a party. drums, singing, chanting, laughter, comaraderie. i got high off the thousands of people around me and their happiness and freedom and confidence and joy. i dont think i was the only one that night who got a glimpse that we can do anything. anything. anything. in this new world.
