Is Puerto Rico the Next Egypt?

Just as Mubarak refused to leave the presidency, the UPR's administration clings to the use of force. Ever since the police took over the University of Puerto Rico, students claim it has turned into a military camp.

"The spark for the university's problems was a budget cut that required students to pay a new $800 fee, increasing their costs by more than 50 percent."

Here's the detail the HuffPo story was missing. A fascinating event nonetheless, and this photo is just scary

I have family in Puerto Rico. This revolution fever is becoming world-wide, and it's inspiring and I love that people are standing up and demanding democracy in countries where there was no hope to it prior to the revolutions. I can't wait to hear what will happen to this domino rebellion ripple effect.
