Today is the one year anniversary of the earthquake that wrecked Haiti's capital city on January 2010.
Here's a great piece on the Hatian quake by Edwidge Danticat at the New Yorker.
The New York Times has a great write-up here as well as a couple of interactive slideshows focusing on survivors of the earthquake and the comprehensive overview of the past year's events.
Finally, here's something from The Root, written by the site's managing editor, a native of Haiti.
