I really understand self-immolation. I get why it happens. Why people do it. Because…fuck. What else is there? What else makes sense in all this?
When reality is so absurd and terrible and no one with power cares to stop being evil… end it with fire. Open heart to air until it catches spark. Maybe it can begin again. After the flames. Maybe something with a shred of light can grow from the ashes. But if nothing else… Let it fucking burn.
